Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
Aaria ("we", "us") is operated by Ava Lane Oy, a company registered in Finland. We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers both the waitlist on this site and the Aaria app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and which entry point you used (for example, the hero or footer form). If you choose a dream after signing up, we store that preference so we can tailor the sample we send you. That is all. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or payment details at this stage.
What the app collects
If you subscribe in the Aaria app, we collect what we need to write and deliver your daily audio:
- Your account — email address and a display name you choose.
- Your answers — the focus areas you pick and everything you write in the co-writing questions: your goals, the places and moments you describe, what gets in your way, and the words you want to hear.
- Your audio — the track we compose for you, stored so you can play it again.
- Purchase status — whether your subscription is active. Apple handles the payment itself; we never see your card.
Someone else’s name
One question asks who is in your life with you, and a first name is enough. If you answer it, that name is stored with your other answers and is spoken aloud in your audio. It is optional, first-name-only, and you can skip it or remove it at any time. We never ask for a surname, contact details, or anything else about that person, and we never contact them. If you would rather not name anyone, leave it blank — your track is written without it.
What we never do with your answers
Your answers are used to write your track and for nothing else. We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or use them to train anyone’s general-purpose AI models. They are some of the most personal things you could write down, and we treat them that way.
Why we collect it
We use your email to confirm your subscription (double opt-in), to let you know when Aaria opens, and to send you the sample we promised. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and confirming via the link we email you.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the waitlist:
- Supabase — stores the subscriber list.
- Resend — sends the confirmation and waitlist emails.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
- Plausible — privacy-friendly, cookie-free traffic analytics. It does not track you across sites or build a profile of you.
For the app, we additionally use:
- Anthropic — writes your track from your answers. Your answers are not used to train their models.
- ElevenLabs — turns the written track into speech.
- RevenueCat and Apple — manage your subscription.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you stay on the waitlist. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it promptly.
In the app, we keep your answers and your audio for as long as your account exists, because your track is written from them. Delete your account and we delete both — including any name you gave us for someone else.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time, and you can unsubscribe using the link in any email we send. Under the GDPR you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@aaria.app.
Children
Aaria is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we update this policy we will revise the date above. For anything else, reach us at hello@aaria.app.
